Today we transited from Bogota to Santa Marta. Unfortunately during the night Stu and Jayenne developed food poisoning. We have no idea what they ate in common but the worst seems to be over now although we had to call the doctor for Stu because we were worried about flying especially as Stu couldn’t regulate his body temperature. The worst seems to be behind us – they feel up to soup tonight.
We have arrived at Finca La Jorara a beautiful eco resort on the far side of Parque Tayrona just near a town called Palomino. The pace of life here is totally different. The photos below are of the Caribbean from the look out above the eco resort call Mirador.
Tomorrow we are tubing down a river.
