How quickly has this holiday gone? It only seems like yesterday that we were boarding our flight to LAX. The only thing telling me what a lie that is is my waist. I just tried my jeans on and kets just say i don’t need a belt when wearing what used to be baggy size 34s.
We said goodbye to Cabinas Nirvana Ecolodge and the ladies at Brigitte’s ranch the only place to get breakfast at Playa Negra then headed back to San Jose. I got to drive the Prado the whole way. I think now i could comfortable hire a car in the USA and drive Stu and I around.
We have just finished a craft beer tour of San Jose. Stu and i had cocktails rather than beer. The guide was excellent and took us to cultural things as well as gastropubs. I chatted to a local named Raphael at one bar and he asked if we were retired he thought we were in our mid 50s – beard is coming off soon! Had amazing pulled pork nachos at one place and alcoholic ice cream at another. It has been a great way to say goodbye to San Jose and our group of 6, tomorrow is it’s just Jayenne, Peter, Stu and I.
