I went to see Shang-Chi yesterday and took advantage of the fact I was seeing the movie at Southbank. I played around with the settings on the camera again some of the images of the city came out a little dark. The last few (the CityCat and the sculpture) were using the telephoto lens.
I really enjoyed the movie and it was fund being able to take some photos at Southbank beforehand.

We walked with Stu’s mum on the Monday morning (Queens Birthday in QLD, Labour Day in almost all the other states). We went over to the Roma Street Parklands so I took the opportunity of playing with a few settings again – I think I am starting to get everything down – shooting from shadow (the first couple) still looks a little dark but I’m getting there. I also tried focussing on something close and blurring everything in the background – this worked really well.
We had a great walk but summer has started – I think it was 30 by the time we got back to the car.
