Today we started a 3 day road trip up to Yeppoon. While Yeppoon is only about 8 hours north we decided to take it slowly today.
We stopped for morning tea at the Fernvale bakery – which has a beautiful old truck out the back.
Then we headed to Toogoolawah where Stu’s dad keeps threatening to move to. It is a very quaint little place.
From there we headed to Blackbutt where I had lunch (and Pat bought avocados) then on to Kingaroy and the not so big peanut. We are staying in the Motel Oasis today which is dog friendly. It was a pretty uneventful but beautiful drive – everything is very green because we have had so much rain recently.
