As usual Stu and I were up early this morning and took Eric for a walk around Kingaroy. The Motel Oasis is comfortable but a little claustrophobic especially for a puppy like Eric. We are driving further north today but going via Mundubbera and Gayndah to stretch the day out.
We drove along some back roads (including unsealed roads) for a couple of hundred km until we got to Mundubbera where we only stayed for a very short while as the only cafe was closed. Mundubbera is a beautiful little town but without coffee didn’t have much to offer.
We drove the hour or so to Gayndah (no sealed roads) a citrus farming community where we had a late morning tea before we headed to Moore Park Beach which is just north of Bundaberg. The motel is quite quaint and includes lots of little touches but we won’t want to spend much time in our rooms.
We have just come back from a walk along the beach and are going to find somewhere dog friendly to eat tonight. I apologise for the last picture Eric was pulling on the lead as I snapped.
