Day 1 – Brisbane to Singapore

We are through customs and immigration, and can sit down and unwind after what turned out to be a stressful customs procedure for Stu and i and as it turns out Alison and Dennis as well.

I’d taken my wallet out in the car to check that i had everything and couldn’t put it back in my pocket.  We got out of the car and through customs when i realised my wallet was still in Alison’s car.  Alison and Dennis were already through immigration and when i called them her car key was in her checked baggage.  Alison then had a nasty thought that her car wasn’t locked!

Long story short ran back to car while Stu went through immigration and the car wasn’t locked and my wallet was on the floor.  Ran back to departures and had the fastest customs and immigration ever, and even managed to get Stu’s birthday present before they left duty free.  Now i can relax!  Our travelling companion is Harriet who was my Christmas present from Lauren to keep me company on my travels.
